Scotch Post-it Dispenser
This project began with a series of concept sketches that needed to be transformed into precise 3D models and realistic renders for presentation to the final client, 3M.
My role was to interpret the designer’s vision while refining every detail to ensure the product could smoothly transition from concept to production. Balancing aesthetic fidelity with manufacturability was key — every curve, joint, and surface was carefully modeled to preserve the design intent while meeting real-world constraints.
The final 3D files served multiple purposes: they were used to produce rapid prototypes, provided a foundation for mold design, and even supported marketing visuals for the product’s Amazon listing.
The project was developed using Rhinoceros 3D, T-Splines, Shape Modeling Plugin, V-Ray for Rhino, and Solidworks.
