Ergohuman Chair — 3D Modeling for Architectural Visualization
This project was developed for Proyecto Digital Studio (Spain), who required a high-fidelity 3D replica of the Ergohuman office chair for integration into an architectural visualization scene.
Working from reference photographs and basic dimensional data, I reconstructed the chair’s complex geometry using Sub-D and NURBS modeling in Rhinoceros 3D. The process focused on achieving precise proportions, continuous surfaces, and realistic manufacturability. Each transition, ergonomic contour, and mechanical component was carefully modeled to ensure both aesthetic accuracy and functional coherence.
The final deliverables included a NURBS model with V-Ray materials applied, as well as a polygonal mesh with UV mapping optimized for 3ds Max rendering workflows.
